1. Registration / Start Immediately

For healthy ageing and preventing muscle loss

1.1 Where Do I Start? Read the Starter Guide in only 5 minutes. Then you are ready to go!

Through healthyageingplatform.com, you can sign up for the Prevent Muscle Loss Program. Immediately after your payment, you will receive a confirmation email (including an invoice). Please check your SPAM folder just in case and add info@healthyageingplatform.com to your contacts to make sure our emails never end up in your spam folder.

This email contains the Starter Guide. It is important to briefly review it first (approximately 5 minutes). You will also receive a login email. Through this email, you will receive access to your personal account.

1.2 How Can I Start Training Immediately?

After logging into your personal account on https://members.healthyageingplatform.com/ you can start immediately with our programs.

  • In module 1, you will find a welcome video and further information on how you can prevent muscle loss after your 60s.
  • In module 2, you will find the 6-week conditioning programs. You can follow these without any equipment for the first 6 weeks. After 6 weeks, you can start with the Muscle Loss Prevention Program in module 3.
  • In module 3, you can start with the first exercise program, which includes 10 different exercises for the whole body. We recommend watching all 10 exercises individually first. In these videos, we explain what to focus on during each exercise.
  • After 4 weeks, you will move on to the next exercise program with 10 new exercises (which you will follow again for 4 weeks).
  • In every exercise program you can find follow-along session, which plays all 10 exercises in sequence. We have created two versions of the follow-along session: With music or without. This way, you can choose what suits you best!

1.3  When Should I Switch to the Next Exercise Program?

After you have become a member of the Healthy Ageing Platform, you first start with the 6-week Conditioning Programs. After that, in module 3, you can start the Muscle Loss Prevention Program. There, you follow each exercise program for a duration of 4 weeks.

We have designed the Prevent Muscle Loss Program so that you can move on to the next training schedule every 4 weeks. You will then start by reviewing all 10 exercises again. After that, you can continue with the follow-along session. A total of 36 programs will be available. Additionally, various shorter workouts will be uploaded regularly.

After you have logged into your personal account, you can view the '🗞️ News' section at the top left. Here, we will post a message with every new update we have. Therefore, make sure to check this section regularly.

5. How to use the fitness-set?

Training program for 60+

✅ 5.1 Instructions

The fitness set consists of 5 different resistance bands, each with a different color and resistance. From low to high, these are yellow through black. There are currently multiple fitness sets in circulation, which means that the resistance of red, green, and blue may differ. However, you can often tell how heavy the band is by its thickness.

In addition to the 5 different resistance bands, you have 2 handles and 2 ankle straps. You can click these onto the ends of the resistance bands.

You have also received a door anchor. You can clamp this behind the door for specific exercises (both at the top of the door and at the side). You place the rubber part behind the door, with the loop facing toward you. Then you close the door. You can now pull the resistance band(s) through the loop and perform the exercise (see photo).

6. Information about your membership

✅ 6.1 What does my membership include?

With your membership, you get access to our online training platform (accessible via healthyageingplatform.com). The platform offers various exercise programs (up to 36), and new training sessions are added regularly.

✅ 6.2 How long will I have access to the platform?

You will have access to the platform as long as your membership is active. Once you end your membership, your access to the platform will no longer be available.

✅ 6.3 When can I cancel my membership?

Your membership lasts for one year and will automatically continue if you do not cancel. After the first year, you can cancel your membership on a monthly basis.

✅ 6.4 How can I cancel my membership?

You can cancel your membership by sending an email.
